    Key Employee Succession Planning
You’ve probably heard all the statistics confirming the critical war for qualified talent. Nationally, Baby Boomers are retiring at a rate of 10,000 a day. So how do you ensure a strong pipeline of qualified employees to fill pending retirements? Are you focusing on retention and career pathways? Or perhaps you simply need a process to identify and develop key employees?  Good leaders create an environment that shows an interest in their employee’s interests in development and empowers people to do more, learn more and become more. Yet a Sept 2018 article in Forbes noted 51% of US employees are currently looking for new jobs. Sometimes it’s due to an ineffective manager, other times it’s the inability to see a future with your company or a lack of advancement opportunities.

Beyond issues with recruitment and onboarding, there is no single answer to keeping your organization strong, but there are unique strategies to keep your best talent from leaving. One way is to develop a succession plan to both prepare your employees for future roles and increase benchstrength against the organization’s loss of your best talent.

Come to this interactive workshop to learn how to develop a Key Employee Succession Plan to increase personal and team effectiveness. Designed for HR Managers, HR Generalists, Assistants, first line supervisors and others who evaluate employee development, you will leave this session with sample questions and specific questioning techniques to keep your employee performance meetings on track and acquire a better understanding of your talent pipeline.

    Other areas include:
    • Best practices of a Talent Review Meeting
    • Sample Talent Review Agenda and ground rules
    • 4 common Employee Assessment Tools and when each are used
    • Initial development of an Action Plan
